7th Grade Math-Period 2

The Math 7 curriculum links to and builds on students’ previous work with rates and ratios, rational numbers, fundamental algebraic and geometric concepts, and statistical thinking. Areas of focus for this course are applying proportional relationships, understanding and working with linear equations, solving geometric problems, and drawing inferences about populations based on samples. In order to strengthen the foundation needed for the formal study of algebra and geometry, students are challenged to think and reason about mathematics, work collaboratively, and solve meaningful problems.
