About Me

I am so grateful to be a member of the vibrant Jefferson school community. I began teaching more than a decade ago in Brooklyn and worked for several years as a literacy coach and math curriculum development specialist before coming to back to work in Westfield. I believe strongly in the power of an inclusive, engaging, and differentiated learning community. Each child walks into school with his or her strengths and talents, and I work to empower students to understand their strengths and build confidence as they tackle their areas of growth.

Outside of school hours, you’ll find me on soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts with my two boys. They both go to Tamaques - William is in third grade and Sam in second. We also love going to the pool & the beach, going on bike rides, and traveling. I feel thankful to be both a parent and educator in the Westfield community.
