I am so grateful to be a member of the Jefferson school community. I began teaching in Brooklyn and worked for several years as a literacy coach and math curriculum development specialist before coming to back to work in Westfield. I believe in the power of an engaging and differentiated learning community. Each child walks into school with his or her strengths and talents, and I work to empower students to understand their strengths and build confidence as they tackle their areas of growth.
Outside of school hours, you’ll find me on soccer & lacrosse fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts with my two boys. They both go to Tamaques - William is in fifth grade and Sam in fourth. We also love going to the pool & the beach, going on bike rides, and traveling. You also may see me around the neighborhood walking my other two boys, our golden retrievers, Toby & Sunny! I am thankful to be both a parent and educator in the Westfield community.
