Welcome to Food Science! This course explores the science behind food and cooking. Students will learn about food safety, nutrition, the biochemistry of taste, the chemistry of flavor development, food production, sustainability, and careers in food science. The course will culminate in a capstone project where students apply their knowledge to a real-world challenge.
