Welcome to Geometry with Mrs. Tulapol and Mrs. Alicea! This course is intended as a survey of Euclidean geometry concepts and the elements of logic. As with all geometry courses, there is a focus on precise use of language and careful application of the deductive process. There is limited emphasis on formal proofs and more embedded review of previously-taught concepts as students learn about the characteristics of shapes in two-and three-dimensional space and are introduced to basic geometric constructions. Scientific calculators are used regularly.
