I have been teaching science at WHS for 21+ years in the areas of biology and environmental science. These scientific disciplines are exciting and relevant! The content of both courses enable students to connect to events in real time. Since teaching is my second career, I come to the classroom with rich life experiences. I consider you "my kids" for the year and I truly love seeing each of you grow academically, socially and emotionally from September to June. I look forward to developing strong, positive educational experiences with you as you begin a new year at WHS. Let's focus, work hard and learn a great deal on our journey together this year!
Warmly, Mrs. Mc Loughlin

IMPORTANT BEFORE DAY 1 - AP ENVIRONMENTAL STUDENTS MUST READ THIS INFO FIRST:
Total Registration & College Board sites go live on September 1, 2025.
There is no cost for registering & enrolling in AP courses for students. You have time to pay but do so before Nov 1 to avoid a late fee. (see info below)
There is a cost to order an exam and take the exam on May 15, 2026 AP Environmental Science Exam
The cost is $105 from Sept. 1 Registrations made after November 1st will incur a $40 late fee per exam.
By default, every AP student who enrolls in an AP Classroom section is included in the exam roster with an order status of "Yes." This status will be updated as students finalize their decisions and complete their exam fee payments.
There are two required actions for ALL AP students. WHY? You must do this to have access to key course resources used in this AP class.
1) A two-step process begins at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/311585
where students fill out information for college board for the environmental science test. Note: Payment is not required to complete the two-step process however, note due dates & late fees listed below.
2) Completion of step one provides students with a code students need to enroll in their WHS AP Classroom @ https://myap.collegeboard.org
Student Confusion that may be clarified here:
a) please note that when you register - payment is not required to register. You select pay later and continue with the registration document
b) Where is my code? The AP class code is found by scrolling way down to the very bottom of the registration
Why is this important? It allows you access to needed College Board materials/resources.
