This year begins my 24th  year as a member of the Westfield High School English Department and my 28th year as an educator.  I received my degree in English and American Literature from Hofstra University and completed graduate work at Drew University with a concentration in Contemporary Poetry.  In August of '24, I completed my M.A. in Educational Leadership at Montclair State University.  At Westfield, I currently serve as the Varsity Assistant Wrestling  coach.  Over the years at Westfield, I have worked with Transition Project, Project '79, Folio, I& RS, Assistant Varsity Coach of Softball, as well as serving as a member of the District Strategic Planning Committee in 2016.  I also served as the coordinator of our WHS Visiting Poets Series for 11 years. The program has welcomed Li-Young Lee, Matthew and Michael Dickman, Mark Doty, Marie Howe, Philip Schultz and many others.
