Pre-Calculus Honors

Course Description:  Students extend and strengthen their knowledge of elementary functions while studying advanced mathematics and introductory calculus topics such as trigonometry, conic sections, polar coordinates, vectors, matrices, probability, sequences and series, limits and continuity. Mathematical modeling is used to represent real-world situations and solve problems. The interdisciplinary nature of mathematics is emphasized by applications to science and technology.
