Calculus

Course Information:  

In the Calculus course, students explore concepts, methods and applications of single-variable calculus graphically, numerically and algebraically. Major topics include limits, derivatives, integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Mathematical modeling is used to represent real-world situations and solve problems. The interdisciplinary nature of mathematics is emphasized by applications to science and technology. Technology enables students to explore, experiment, interpret results, and justify conclusions. 

Numerous opportunities for investigation, practice and review are embedded throughout the course.
