📚 Welcome to 8th Grade Reading & Language Arts! 📚

Get ready for a year of powerful stories, meaningful discussions, and lots of opportunities to grow as readers and writers!

This year, we’ll use the READ 180 program to strengthen our reading and writing skills while building confidence along the way. We’ll explore a variety of short stories, learn about the Holocaust through literature and historical context, and read John Steinbeck’s classic novel, Of Mice and Men.

Along the way, we’ll meet unforgettable characters, tackle important themes, make connections, and share our own ideas and perspectives.
