Grading Policy

This class will be run on a "points" system: each assessment will have a number of points, and at the end of the marking period, the number of points earned is divided by the number of points available to determine the final grade.

Here's the breakdown for how the points usually work:

• Tests: 100 points
• Long-term writing assignments: 100 points
• Quizzes: 50 points
• Short-term writing assignments: 50 points
• Outside Reading Projects: 30 points
• Homework: 10 points
• Classwork: 10 points
