Fine Motor Activities

• Use tongs, tweezers, clothespins to pick up items such as pom poms or cotton balls. Roll a dice to see how many to collect to make it a game!

• Coins: work on in-hand manipulation by using coins and see how many you can move from palm to fingertips without dropping! Video showing in-hand manipulation skills

• Everyday chores: use a spray bottle to water plants or clean the table

• Stringing beads or Perler Bead fun 

• Homemade Playdoh

Visual Perceptual Activities

• Puzzles are a great way to work on visual perceptual skills!

• I-Spy game (ex: shapes, colors) 

• Word searches 

• Spot It! 

Visual Motor Activities

• Build with legos (copy a model or try to follow directions)

• Practice letter formation by writing in playdoh, shaving cream, using chalk

• Mazes 

Gross Motor Activities

• Brain Gym exercises (video)

• Yoga  

• Gross Motor Bingo
