The WHS Spanish Club is open to any student who has a genuine interest in the Spanish language and culture.
Description of Club Goals: To engage students in cultural activities, thereby promoting cultural awareness; to raise money for scholarships
Description of Club Activities: Fundraising is an important activity that raises money for scholarships at the end of the year. Members will also participate in welcoming Spanish exchange students, sampling Hispanic foods, listening to Spanish music and learning Latin dances. Club members are also eligible for academic recognition by nomination to join the National Spanish Honor Society as Juniors and Seniors.
Frequency of Meetings: Monthly

Dues: $5.00, annually
Expected Commitment of Members: Members are expected to attend meetings, participate in cultural activities, and to raise monies for scholarships and charitable causes.
