This course is an ability grouped course that is accelerated and enriched. Spanish is spoken exclusively. Spanish II Honors continues to build upon and further develop the four basic language acquisition skills for expression in Spanish at a mid-novice level. This honors course is recommended for students who have successfully completed Spanish I and are interested in a fast-paced, in-depth study of Spanish to develop an ability to speak, read and write in Spanish at a level comprehensible to a native speaker on topics previously studied.
*To be recommended for this course, students must meet the following criteria:
1. Recommendation of Spanish I teacher.
2. A or B+ average in Spanish I.
3. Superior oral expression and aural comprehension.
4. Facility in writing and comprehending Spanish.
