Homework and Calendar

Homework - Homework for the 6th and 7th Classes consist of independent outside drawings called "Observation Drawings". An Observation Drawing is a pencil drawing (#2) on printer size paper (8.5 x 11) of a real 3 dimensional object of choice. Example: Find a small object and place it on a table, a shoe. Draw the object to the best of your ability using height, width and depth, light medium and dark shading in proper alignment with your light source. Five Observation Drawings per quarter are required. The option to work on Observation Drawings in class is available if a student has completed the current assignment early.

Calendar -  Class calendar reflects important District Art dates. Individual assignments are assessed at Mid-term and Final as to allow the maximum possible time to complete the work. Many students work at different rates and independent project management is a required part of the class.
