As researchers, we seek images constantly to get a better understanding of what we're learning about. Images provide us with detail and a perspective that, often times, can be difficult to understand within documents that we're reading.
If you require an image for a project, keep in mind that many images have a copyright.
COPYRIGHT: the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.
Images, just like data, must be cited.
If you're looking for copyright friendly images, please visit the links below or go directly to Google Images, click on Tools menu, select Usage Rights and then select Labeled for Noncommercial Reuse. You will need to visit the web site your image is coming from to create a citation.
Google is NOT the source of your image.
