This year, your child will be a part of what is known as The Responsive Classroom. This teaching style creates a safe, challenging, and joyful climate for all children. It promotes a comfortable and cooperative community of learners where each student can do their best learning. During the first weeks of school, we will establish our class rules and how they are important for all of us to achieve our hopes and dreams for the school year. Throughout the year, our Cool Cats will set academic or social goals that are personal and important to them. Students will come to understand that by following the simple, positively stated rules below, their hopes and dreams will become reality!
