Welcome to Westfield's Summer Art Exhibition. If you didn't get chance to get into school to see it you can view a snap shot of the exhibition over these pages.
Once again pupils have worked really hard and produced some great work through the year. They should all feel really proud about their achievements.
If you've enjoyed looking at the work please leave a comment in the visitors book at the bottom of this page to let us know what you think.
Happy Viewing!
Over the last two months, our school community have worked on a creative art project around the theme of ‘Belonging’. Each person in the school, pupils and staff, has had the opportunity to choose a thread to represent their uniqueness and place it on a shared work to represent their belonging to our community.
The threads were placed around the shape of the kestrel, our school emblem, and the result is a beautiful and unique piece of art made by the entire school.
Being part of the Westfield community is joyous and this artwork is a beautiful and lasting representation of our sense of belonging.
Earlier in the school year the whole school celebrated the Big Draw. The Big Draw is a national festival which promotes drawing in its broadest sense within schools and arts organisations.
The theme this year was come back to colour. Throughout the day pupils from across the whole school took part in a painting with light activity which we made into the film above.
