Build a structured advocacy function that positions WPA as a knowledgeable and responsive resource for members.

Objectives:

• Develop clear policy positions and briefing materials that reflect member priorities and industry realities.

• Equip members with accessible advocacy tools, including talking points, issue summaries, and action alerts.

• Represent WPA in coalitions and cross-industry partnerships to gather intelligence and develop shared goals.

2. Deliver High-Value Industry Insights That Guide Member Decision-Making

Create a professional, structured intelligence program that translates market, economic, and regulatory signals into actionable guidance.

Objectives:

• Define an annual insights plan based on the most relevant themes for members (markets, labor, supply chain, environment, regulations).

• Establish templates and standards for delivering market reports, intelligence briefs, and analysis.

• Coordinate with other WPA committees to ensure insights inform education, events, and member engagement.

3. Build Member Understanding and Engagement Around Key Issues

Increase member awareness, participation, and confidence by helping companies understand how policy, economic trends, and industry shifts affect their operations.
