The Westerly Parent Association is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community that enriches the lives of our children. We partner with educators, families, and the broader community to create an environment where every child can thrive, feel valued, and reach their fullest potential. Through collaborative efforts, meaningful engagement, and a shared commitment to our school's mission, we empower parents to play an active role in shaping a nurturing and inspiring environment for our students today and the leaders of tomorrow.
Every parent at Westerly School is automatically a member of the Westerly Parent Association (WPA)! In fact, our school is such a close-knit community that we have come to rely on the dedication of our many caring parent volunteers to help facilitate school events, organize fundraisers for campus improvements and programs, and support various educational and social activities for the greater community.
WPA meetings are held on a monthly basis during the school year (September through May) with in-person and virtual options and we encourage all parents to attend and volunteer! Check the calendar regularly for meeting updates.
The WPA Executive committee consists of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. They are further supported by numerous committee chairs who manage several events throughout the school year. If you’d like to get involved with our executive committee, please join our WPA WhatsApp Community contact wpa@westerlyschool.org.
