Apple iPads

WCV Grade Levels: Grades K-3

WCV students in Grades K-3 are issued a 1:1 Apple iPad and charger. During the Fall of 2020, students on a remote or hybrid learning schedule are permitted to bring their iPads home with them. Students on the hybrid learning schedule will be required to bring the iPad and its charger with them to and from school. This will allow the district to transition to a remote learning environment seamlessly if there is a need for a school closure.

Stylus Recommendations

General Stylus

This device will not recognize a digital (EMR) pen
You can find general styluses at reasonable prices anywhere from the Dollar Store to Amazon.
These styluses are highly recommended by WCV teachers and students.

Cleaning Protocols

Electronic Device Wipes

Students may clean their iPad with any electronic device cleaning wipe.
Students are not allowed to use any liquid of any kind to clean the iPad.

Extra Charger

Some families have indicated interest in purchasing an additional charger to have at home for their child's iPad.
