This affects the following machines only:
Both Elementary Main Office Copiers
Elementary 2nd Floor Copier
All Middle/High School Copier Room Copiers
District Office Copier
Printing from your Computer to a Copier
From now until the Holiday break, you will still have the access to print directly from your computer to district copiers as you have had previously. This will allow us some transition time as everyone becomes familiar with PaperCut. However, direct printing to copiers will be turned off once we return from the Holiday Break. Following the Holiday break, you will be required to use the PaperCut system when printing from your computer to a copier. Please take this time between now and then to become familiar with the system using this guide.
Notes
Printing to PaperCut will allow you to print to a queue and release the print on any of the copiers above. You do not need to select which machine you intend to print from in advance. This is helpful if you are, for example, a MS/HS employee but find yourself in the Elementary side of the building and need to print something. You can just print to the queue, and go to the nearest copier to release the print job.
7 Day Expiration: If you send a print job to the PaperCut queue and haven't released it for printing after 7 days, the print job will be deleted.
Copying & Scanning at the Copier
Please refer to this user guide with screenshots on how to use the PaperCut system to copy and scan to your email while at the machine.
Chromebook Printing (Faculty/Staff Only)
This new system also includes Chromebook printing for faculty/staff (not for students at this time). Faculty/staff may now use their Chromebooks to print to any of the printing/copying locations above using these steps. Chromebooks will not print to classroom printers.
Printing Codes (ID Number)
Previous printing codes will transition to this new system. If you do not have a printing code (ID number) or have forgotten what it is, you will need to sign in to the PaperCut system at the copier using your WCV computer username and password, or you can create yourself a code/reset your code from the web using these instructions.
