Mr. McNeil

Hello!  My name is Mr. McNeil and I am the library media specialist at Gibbons.  I have been working at the Gibbons for the last 17 years.  Prior to becoming the library media specialist, I taught 7th grade social studies for 13 years on the Dreamers and Orange teams.  In 2021, I wanted a new challenge where I could work with teachers on project-based learning, tech, and creating fun and engaging activities and learning experiences for students.  Currently, I am focused on learning how AI will impact the future of education, society, and work.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with my wife Amanda and hanging out with our dog Phantom.  Mrs. McNeil is in her 5th year as a kindergarten teacher at Armstrong.  

In school, I enjoy planning projects, teaching research, and supporting technology skills like graphic design and coding.
