Class of 2024 Explores Their Opportunities at Assabet on October 23, 2019
As we enter into our 8th grade year with your students, we begin to prepare them for the transition to high school. An exciting option for your students to consider is Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School.
Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School is located in Marlborough, this school allows students to explore hands-on learning that prepares them for real-world applications of what they learn here. At AV, students may choose from seventeen different technical programs, offering a wide variety of career paths.
Graduates can receive an academic diploma and a certificate of proficiency in their career and technical areas. Assabet graduates enjoy both college and career placement services, including a co-op program that allows highly qualified students to begin their careers during the technical program time of their senior year.
Important dates:
On Oct. 18th, Assabet students will be visiting GMS to give an overview of the Assabet experience.
On Wed., Oct. 25th, Mr. Gandrup - School Counselor - will be taking interested students to Assabet for a tour of the school and if you have any questions please see Mr. Gandrup
