Think about Brittany Maynard and her family. They really care about Death with Dignity because it impacted their family so greatly. Think about the issue that impacts you and/or your family. Who has the power to legislate and tell you what to do in that situation? Is that right? You will learn about federalism. You will pick an issue to deep dive into. You will then write an argumentative essay that addresses the question: Who should have the power to legislate what is best for you as a citizen, the federal or state government?

After completing the essay, you will then format your essay into a letter to be sent to the appropriate office/official to seek support for your position OR share how your writing will be used for impact.
