The purpose of this investigation is to analyze how traits are passed down from one generation to the next. What is the importance of different genes? How do the genetic frequencies change over time? You will investigate to determine the heredity of a certain trait in a family while creating a pedigree chart. You will then write lab report explaining the pedigree chart.

1. Look at the exemplars of scientific investigation from the links below to give you a guideline as to what we are looking for in our experiment.

2. Open and create a copy of the Lab Template and save in your google drive (remember the name of it because you will be using this for the entire studio)

3. Open and make a copy of the project companion below.

4. Fill out project companion and submit to Slate.

5. Schedule a conference with the teacher
