Step 1: Determine what format you would like to use for your technical "writing". If you are in Portfolio 1 or 2, you can request a template for the type of format you choose. Ask your mentor or science teacher for these templates. If you are in Portfolio 3 or 4, you will need to format your work yourself, using only the Science Writing Samples (below) or other articles you find on your own.

Step 3: Make a copy of and complete the Technical Writing Guide.
Step 4: Submit your Guide to Slate
