STEM5. Mathematical Problem Solving: Apply mathematical problem solving strategies to create efficient and high quality solutions to challenging problems.
- 5.1: I can gather, extract and organize important information to formulate the main problem to solve.
- 5.2: I can visualize and translate a situation or context into an appropriate mathematical framework or model.
- 5.3: I can choose and apply mathematical problem-solving strategies.
STEM6. Mathematical Argumentation and Reflection: Build, defend and critique mathematical arguments while reflecting on my own problem-solving process.
- 6.1: I can state my solution and explain my process using mathematical language and correct mathematical notation.
- 6.4: I can evaluate my problem-solving process and come up with ideas for how I might use more efficient or effective processes in the future.
