About this Stepping stone:

In this stepping stone, you will be creating and using a model to recreate a crime scene that uses trace evidence. This model will help you to see the patterns, implications, and communicate ideas about your crime scene.

  • 3.3 I can evaluate and refine models

To Do:

  1. Open up and make a copy of the Crime Scene In A Box doc

  2. Pick an article that uses trace evidence as the main evidence found (if you need help finding an article see your instructor)

  3. Copy the article

  4. Link the article into your copy of Crime Scene In A Box doc

  5. You will be completing the model portion of the project

  6. Follow the directions step by step

  7. If you need a box or resources to fill your crime scene box make a list and see your instructor for those resources

  8. Build the model of your crime scene from the article

  9. Submit box to your instructor

  10. Schedule a feedback conference
