We Are Learning To (WALT):  Borrow from the next column when the top number is smaller than the bottom number.

Success Criteria (SC):

•  I will be able to cross out the column to the right of the number and make it one less

• I will be able to identify whether the borrowed number is 10 more or 100 more than you are borrowing

We Are Learning To (WALT):  Multiply numbers with decimal points   

Success Criteria (SC):

•  I will be able to multiply the whole numbers 

• I will be able to numbers in the correct place values

We Are Learning To: Understand that multiplication is a group 

Success Criteria: 

• We are able to draw the arrays 

• We are able to write the correct numbers in the space provided

Use an algorithm to solve 2-digit multiplication

Success Criteria: 

• We are able to start with the ones 

• We are able to carry over the value number

• We are able to add a 0 to the ones column when we move to the 10s column

Success Criteria:  

• We will be able to so show 3 ways to solve the multiplication 

• We will be able to justify why we believe this strategy is the best.  

• We will be able to solve the multiplication using the same strategy
