**Equipment reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.**
Before you can access Cheqroom you must submit and application, you will only need to do this once. When making reservations in Cheqroom, your reservation is not complete until you book an appointment with Prof. Gaston through Calendly for a pick-up time. You will be prompted to do so within the reservation process.

Checking out equipment from the Theater Department constitutes an agreement by the student/user to abide by the below policies and procedures.
All equipment is intended for academic project use only.
Equipment is available to students working on Theater Department capstone and thesis projects, or other academic projects with faculty approval.
Students must receive the appropriate training for any equipment before check out will be granted.
The student that checks out the equipment must be the individual that will be using the equipment. Students may not check out equipment for other students.
Equipment is to be used only by authorized and trained students. The student who signed the equipment out remains liable for damage.
Equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was checked out and with all accessories. Missing or damaged equipment will incur a lost equipment fee to be processed to the student account equaling the cost of the damaged/missing equipment and/or accessory and/or the cost of any required repairs. Accessories may include SD cards, battery/charger, lens cover, cables, adapters, etc.
Upon check out, inspect all equipment and ensure that all components are present and in working order. Please inform faculty/staff if something is missing or damaged to avoid charges.
Students with overdue equipment will be notified by email to return the equipment. Students with three overdue warnings in one semester or with lost equipment will have checkout privileges suspended until the beginning of the next semester. Students with lost equipment are not eligible to checkout equipment until all fees have been paid or the equipment returned.
Overdue notices are a courtesy notice only. Users are expected to know and abide by the policies and procedures for checking out Theater Department equipment.
Equipment that is overdue for more than 1 month will be considered lost. Lost equipment will be reported to the University and charged to the student’s account.
Repeated instances of equipment being late or going missing while in student possession may require further action, including but not limited to involvement of the Dean of Students.
