Responsibilities 

District/School Responsibilities

• Immediate enrolment 

• Advocate for best interest of the student

• Offer a mode of transportation

• Resolve enrollment disputes

• Assist in students receiving appropriate educational services

• Give resources such as backpacks, school supplies, uniforms, school clothing 

Parent Responsibilities

• Make sure that your child attends school everyday

• Be attentive to your child's health and schooling 

• If your child is going to be absent notify the school and transportation if applicable

• Encourage your child to participate in extracurricular activities: such as music and sports 

• Assist in your child with their homework

• If your child has a problem talk with their teacher or school social worker. 

Student  Responsibilities

• Do your best everyday

• Talk with your teacher or school social worker if you have any problems or concerns

• Follow the rules at school and on transportation 

• Participate in extracurricular activities. 

• If  you are struggling in a school talk with your parent, teacher or school social worker

• Use resources given appropriatly
