Reading:

• Practice letter sounds and letter names

• Zoophonics (power point added below)

• Practice vowels

• Practice sight words

• Practice blends and digraphs (YouTube videos below to help)

• Practice saying all the sounds in a word

• Review word families (at, an, ip, et, en, ug, up, ix, op, ect.) (identify words that belong in said word families and practice spelling them)

• Read with your child daily

Math:

• Counting to 100 by 1's and 10's

• Write numbers 0-20

• Practice identifying 2D and 3D shapes

• Word problems that use subtraction and addition

Writing:

• Write first and last name

• Practice writing daily (write stories using First, Next and Last)

• Work on neat writing (Capital letters, spacing, and punctuation)

• Practice writing CVC words (consonant/vowel/consonant) Note: this can be a time to have fun with your children. You can have them write the words using chalk, or put shaving cream on a table and use their fingers to write out the words :)
