The mission of Arroyo Social Services is to provide school support and resources to families, students and the community in order to help remove barriers to social emotional and academic success so students can be the best version of themselves.
As a dedicated school social worker at Arroyo School, Ms. Rood is committed to fostering the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students within the community. Collaborating closely with families, educators and community partners, Ms. Rood works to identify and address barriers that may impede student success. Ms. Rood's role is to facilitate support services, connect families with essential resources and provide individual and group counseling, . By promoting a safe and inclusive environment, Ms. Rood strives to empower students to reach their full potential and navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Ms. Rood obtained her BA from DePaul University and her M.Ed. from the University of Southern California.
