In art, we do lots of hands on activities with lots of different tools. It is a fun and safe environment when we all follow these guidelines. Students will learn about and practice these expectations in many ways, all year long.
Ocotillo Bulldog Pledge:
We are Bulldogs. We are respectful, responsible, safe and ready to learn!
This year we will be using class dojo to recognize and reward students positive behavior choices in the art room. Every student will have the opportunity to earn points for following the Ocotillo Pledge. If you are interested in seeing your student's points please contact me to be invited to participate.
Students may also earn Bulldog barkers, which recognizes their good choices and enters them into a weekly drawing for prizes from the front office!
Gold Coins:
Students will also be rewarded as a whole class with Gold Coins. When students work together as a group to follow these expectations they will earn their gold coin for their homeroom teacher to turn in for extra recess! 4 out of 6 expectations met will earn the class a gold coin. When students accomplish all 6 they earn a tally mark towards fun classroom activities outside of their assignments.
