  1. https://www.quavermusic.com/info/ There are ways to use Quaver from home, and students can log in with their Google accounts if teachers have a class set up for them. They will need their Quaver code for their class to access activities and assignments.   2. littlekidsrock.org: Description-Little Kids Rock is a charity in the United States that encourages and enables children to play popular music. It is a nonprofit 501 organization and is based in Verona, New Jersey. It provides free music instruction and instruments to public school districts across the country. http://jamzone.littlekidsrock.org/school-closure-resources/ Fantastic ideas and live workshops for kids. They can also go back and do all the other recorded lessons. This whole website is one of my favorites for teaching various instruments to kids!   4. Carnegie Hall's "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" takes your students on an online safari to find all of the instruments in the orchestra in the wild. It is up to you, Violet, and her Uncle Ollie to find them, collect them, and guide them to the orchestra stage.   5. PBS Kids Music Games: This section in PBS Kids features a collection of educational games designed specifically to help kids learn music.

  6. Orchestra websites geared for children: There are some excellent websites created for young students by professional orchestras. The ones that are well known are NY Phil Kidzone , Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO kids) and San Francisco Symphony (SFS kids). The NY Phil Kidzone can be used to have students explore a variety of composers, create compositions, and explore how to arrange orchestrations for a variety of instruments. DSO kids could be used to learn about the numerous periods of music as well as a lot of games that can be used as a whole class activity. SFS kids is an amazing website to have the students explore all of the instruments of the orchestra through a variety of interactive pictures and sound files.
