Daily Procedures

Classroom Seating

All desks will be faced in the same directions and spaced apart for social distancing guidelines.

School begins at 7:30 a.m. Gates open at 7:15
All students will go straight to their homeroom classes for breakfast with no before school recess to avoid germs on playground equipment.

Recess will be separated by classes and grade-level cohorts.
Signage will posted in all rooms and common areas explaining hygiene practices to prevent spread.

All students will be walking to the right of each hallway 6 feet apart when possible.
Students will exit for dismissal around the back of the building for east buildings, and down the middle for west buildings to avoid larger gatherings.
Varied areas for lining up have been marked by tape and chalk across campus to ensure cohorts of students are not mixing when possible.

K-1 Students will be dismissed from classrooms at 2:20 to beat the rush.
All walkers will be dismissed at 2:25 to leave campus immediately.
Gates for dismissal will open at 2:25.
Busers and cars will be dismissed at 2:30 as normal.
All parents and guardians are being asked to remain in their car for pick up and drop off when possible.
If out of car, 6-feet apart standing points will be outside the gate where parents will need to wait in line to pick up their students to ensure social distancing.

All food will now be pre-packaged and portioned.
There will no longer be salad bars
2-3 students a time will move through the lunch line.
All students will be seated two to a table, all tables facing the same direction.
