Q: When can I put a book on hold?
A: You can access the library catalog ANYTIME. All books put on hold by the end of the school day (3:00 pm) will be available the next school day in the front office.
Q: What time is the front office open?
A: The front office is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
Q: What is my user name?
A: Your user name is your student id #. It starts with a 4 and is 6 numbers long. It is the start of your computer login (ex. 444444 (at) wesdschools.org)
Q: What is my password?
A: Your password is your last name. If you have two last names, you'll need to type both of them in. (ex. Lopez Reyes or Lopez-Reyes) Make sure to also type in the space or the dash.
Q: Where can I pick up my books?
A: Your books will be on a cart in the front office arranged alphabetically by last name.
Q: Where can I return library books I am done reading?
A: You can return library books to the front office. There is a labeled bin for book returns.
Q: What if I put a book on hold but it was marked "out"?
A: Putting a book on hold that is checked out means someone else has it and you have to wait until they return it. Once it is returned, I will email your parents to let them know it is ready in the front office.
Q: How many books can I check out?
A: You can check out 4 books and put 3 books on hold.
Q: What if I already have two books checked out and put three more on hold?
A: If you already have books checked out and ask for more, I will give you up to your checkout limit (4). So if you have 2 books at home and then ask for 3 more, I will choose 2 of the 3 you requested for you. You'll have to return a book to get the other one.
