Wesclin's Holiday Help Program

Every year, Wesclin Social Workers run a Christmas Gift drive. Typically we send out information about the drive in October. The drive for this year (2025) is closed and we are working on organizing and details. If you are interested in donating or may need help with gifts for next year, please reach out to me or Mrs. Wilke and we will add you to our list for next Christmas.

Resources for Christmas 2025

• The Salvation Army Angel Tree: Provides toys and other gifts for children aged 12 and under, and you can find details on registering or helping online at saangeltree.org.

• 2-1-1: Call the human services hotline for a referral to other local charities that might have holiday assistance programs. 

• Toys for Tots: Contact your local Toys for Tots chapter to see if they have an "adopt-a-family" program or toy drives in your area. 

• Coping 4 Kids/Coping 4 Life: This year, Coping will be offering families the opportunity to sign up for a box of food for Thanksgiving and/or a box of food, household items & gift cards for Christmas. The gift cards at Christmas have taken the place of requested gifts & gift wrapping, so that families have the autonomy to shop themselves. The Coping counselor who serves your school will be reaching out to you next week to collaborate on identifying families who may benefit from this program. Deadline to register is November 14th.
