Mandatory Annual Training Courses

Required for All Staff:





Note - We have stock epi-pens on hand in each school and a district policy for severe allergic reactions. This training is only a quick Epi Administration summary video, it does not take the place of the Medication Administration Course for staff who are delegated to Administer Medications.


How Does the EpiPen work?





Optional or for Select Staff:


CPR/First Aid - Wed. August 4th at 1pm. Note - certification is good for 2 years. - Contact Annie Long to check availability

Standard Precautions/Bloodborne Pathogens - https://www.train.org/main/course/1089426/compilation (2hr course, includes bloodborne pathogens found in TRAIN online program, this is required for child care and pre-k staff)

Allergy training - https://www.allergysafekids.org/school-staff-module.html (38 minute training)

Glucagon Administration for Diabetics - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC-dcDgmXuI&feature=share&list=EC3DE9DDE8EB2A2E56 and other short informative Diabetes training modules available here as well

Medication Administration Training - Applies to Administrators, Secretaries, Coaches, and Teachers who will be taking students that have medical conditions, i.e., Asthma, Allergies, etc. on field trips or athletic events

NOTE - Review and delegation required ANNUALLY , TBA with Ruth - Full Courses only required every 3 years
