This is a Chant we do to review our academic vocabulary that students will be using when talking and writing about their art.
We start most of our lesson reviewing our 3 personal standards and T chart graph that states what student behaviors should look like, sound like and be thinking about to help them do their best.
Resolving issues and problems is when they arise is important. This poster helps students choose positive strategies to become behavior problem solvers.
The Learning target and scale for grading set the big picture of what the lesson will be about and how students will be graded.
Students will write or talk about their artwork using the artist statement process. They learn how to describe, analyze, and evaluate their work in an intelligent way.
Critiquing notable art pieces and their own work helps them develop aesthetic perceptions.
