Useful information and Home Learning

In this section, you will find useful information around what your child will be doing each term. Here we will outline your child's spellings, homework, PE days and book that we are sharing in class. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Maths - x1 DoodleMaths assignment - this will follow some recent learning

Reading - please read a minimum of at least 3 times a week.  An adult needs to sign your reading record to say that you have read to them or that they know you have read independently.   One housepoint given per signature (per day) 

Spellings -  a worksheet using spelling patterns we have focused on that week.  A similar sheet will be completed at school so you will be familiar with the tasks and activities.

We will learn spelling patterns and rules at school.  No word list will be sent home.  If you would like to focus on spellings at home please use the y5/6 spellings list.
