Hello! I am the Teacher in The Nest.
I absolutely love thinking of ways to make learning fun and memorable. I am so excited to teach all of the children in EYFS this year.

Term 1
Week 4 and 5
We have been learning about seasonal change and how we can see that the season is changing from summer to autumn.
Reception children have been learning phase two sounds in phonics, while nursery children have been listening to sounds in the environment.
In maths we have been thinking about number to 5 and being able to subitise.
Week 1 and 2
We have started the school year by focussing on the different routines and transitions throughout our school day. It has been wonderful to see the children exploring the new setting and becoming more independent.
'All About Me'
All children in the nest have been creating self portraits and looking at different family pictures. We have been thinking about our emotions and have used the story of The Colour Monster to help us explore different feelings.
