"A quote about the book to draw readers in." — Media or other author
Paste in the description on the back cover of your book. This is your chance to hook your readers into your story.
Write the book's main themes in the boxes below. For example, you could choose, "contemporary," "biography," and "queer." Or perhaps "Canadian-based," "humour," and "search for identity." Either way, it's a chance to tell your readers what to expect, and it helps your site show up when people search for those themes in search engines.
Tell your readers about yourself. Where are you from? How long have you been writing? What themes do you gravitate towards? Do you have an educational background that's relevant to your books? Have you won any relevant awards? What are you currently working on?
Don't feel like you have to answer all the questions above. This section should be brief. Having said that, feel free to include a personal touch to show your personality and give a human feel. For example, "Alexanne follows a hobbit meal plan and will advocate for second breakfast and elevensies whenever she's given the chance."
