WCA Core Verses 

We desire that every child knows, loves, and serves Jesus Christ and are confident that each child can grasp the love of the Father. They are uniquely called and gifted for eternal purpose. At WCA, we train students to know the Truth so they are prepared to give an intelligent and unapologetic answer about what they believe to all people. 

To this end, we view students through and employ several core verses as we engage with them, reinforcing His purpose and plan for them: 

Deuteronomy 6:6-8

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

1 Timothy 4:12

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
