Run for Heart

Running 3 Km for Charity...

On Saturday 12th October, 2019, supposed to be the day that I had to go to the military training. Fortunately, it was the week that our Rama 9 king passed away so we did not have training on that day. The Ror dor corporation came up with a service for all of us, ROR DOR RUN for HEART 2019, which was running 3 km to raise money to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AED). We had to buy the ticket to join this, and it costed 300 Baht. It was held at International School of Bangkok (ISB) and the run started at 5:30 am. I was jogging and mix with walking and it took about 21 minutes to finish the run.

Automated External Defibrillators (AED)

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation (VF) and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electricity which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm

Awesome Crew!

These people are my teacher and my friends from grade 11 and 12. I want to specially thank you to Ms. Anne for taking care of us and making the things easy. I am also really happy that I had done this service with these amazing people.

Here is an article that the website of ISB school posted. They explain about their objective and some important informations. Link: https://inside.isb.ac.th/parentportal/2019/10/03/ror-heart-2019/

This is a small souvenir that they gave us at the finish line. One day, this will remind me of a heart-warmed charity run.
