What did we do there?

On the 22nd December 2018, I had a chance to go to Ban Nok Kamin, Bangkok, and donated the basic necessities. I went there with my family and my tennis friends. Once we got there, the first thing that we saw was a huge group of children wearing old soccer clothes and some of them not even wearing their sizes. This made me understand why they loved to play sports. I asked the staff who took care of these children about what they normally do on the regular basis, and they told me that these kids studied and trained to play soccer everyday. They said soccer taught these kids to work as a team and perceive value of the unity. Afterwards, my friends and I taught the kids to play tennis, so that they could experience another sport. Moreover, we played many games such as throwing a tennis ball into a basket and bouncing a tennis ball with a racket as many times as they could. We also had the prizes for the winners. Eventually, everyone had a great time and got some prizes.

I was very impressed by how much the passion and talents most of these children have. This passion might lead them to success one day; however, most of them do not have a chance to show their skills because of insufficient financial supports. As I learned from this, if I have any opportunity from now on to show my skills, I will not let it go. I will bring it on and do it with passion.

Finally, I would like to thank my parents who brought me to this amazing place. I met many adorable kids and kind people there, and it was such a warmheartedness!
