Making Curry Puff

"I never thought that I would be able to cook food."

Yes, I never thought and want to cook food when I was a kid because I felt that I could buy the food or just eat outside. Then I grew up, and start to think my future. I can not just live my life without knowing how to cook especially when I have to be alone in the college. Now, my mom is an amazing chef in my family, much better than my dad. She got it from her mother. Normally, she cooked basic Thai dishes, but now she starts to improve and expand her menu. She cooked chicken curry puff which she went to class. Then, I saw she cooked and it did not seem hard at all (at that time), so I decided to beg my mom to teach me. The steps are easy.

Steps:

1. Roll the flour into a sphere (does not have to be perfect)

2. Place the sphere flour on the tray and make it flat.

3. Roll it back and forth with the roller and make it become small oval shape.

4. Roll it back with you hand.

5. Place it vertical and roll it back and forth with the roller again, but this time make it as long as possible.

6. Roll it back with you hand.

7. Cut into half.

8. Put the swirl part face up and place your palm down against it while moving your hand a little forward.

9. Use the roller to roll it into a big flat circle.

10. Put the chicken and potato inside

11. fold the edge like I did in the video.

12. Put the puff in the frying pan, and wait until it turns brown.

13. Enjoy!

One time, I brought about 20 curry puff to school and give it to my teacers and friends to do market research for my mom. Everyone finished it quick and some of my friends took two. This experiment let me know that this school loves eating chicken curry puff, and it would be my mom's main target market.

Learning outcome:

2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
