If you dont know what a GIF is then a Graphics Interchange Format, is a bitmap image format that was developed by a team at the online services provider CompuServe led by American computer scientist Steve Wilhite on June 15, 1987
Lets start of with the instructions. First you have to pick about 2 - 3 images from online and open it in photoshop and make sure you set the 600 pixels and the width should be 100 pixels for the photoshop document. Then you will see a white rectangle on your scrren which is perfect. Then use the Polyonal Lasso tool and make what ever shape you want and fill it in with paint bucket (I made the blue edges). Make sure to leave some space for the image because the shape you created is for the texts. If you want to make it equal on the other side dublicate the layer (ctl+j) and hide the old one and move the shape (ctl + t) Make sure you rotate it to make it look the same. You can make some changes if you want but that should look just fine. Now you are one third done. Make sure you save your work (ctl+s).
Fill in all the information you want in the banner Such as the name you want to advertise and contact number, One image, and Etc. Once you have desined all the things then you go to window and click on the time line and a bar down will pop up and you should have one screen down there. Next you want to click below the frame where it says the time and make ajustments because that is the time where you images will take to change (I used 0.5 sec). Next you want to duplicate the layer and add another image and hide the old image and hide some text. Duplicate it again and add another image and hide the other two and show the tet which you have hided. This will make you have a blinking effect. And you can continue experimenting with it. You are not (5%) done
Now all you have to do is save it as a GIF all you have to do is go to export and export as a file and make sure the time is forever in the bottom so it will keep on repeating. Once you have done that you can click save and if you want to see it you will have to open it in a browser because GIFs only work there. This gave me alot of experience because I always wondered how I did it and finially I knew how to do it. GIFs are everywhere in facebook and other sites and they are to attractive and funny and people also use it for adds which I have made. As always if you want to see my work it is right below all of the text.
