A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR

It's been quite the journey getting Soho Cinders to the ball. Originally we planned to be performing this little gem in November of '21, but that was not to be. With a lockdown shortly after we started rehearsals, we moved online (quite a challenge!). Then we got the news we had to postpone to January, where we lost a few cast and crew, and spread out the rehearsal schedule.

Which brings me to why we are still staging this show at all. One word; joy. My one aim in putting Cinders on the stage is to spark joy in those who come to see it. This is a fairytale where our heroes get a happy ending and the bad guys don't. If the audience leaves with a smile on their face and a lighter spirit I'll call that a success.

I have to thank everyone involved in the show for sticking with it. One of the reasons we have kept going is because this show gave us light and laughter. Now we get to share that with you.

May you have a joyous evening.

Karen
