Getting back into the Wellington musical theatre scene, this will be Hayden's first production with Footlights after returning from the UK working as a musician for London concerts and West End musicals. Hayden also worked as an accompanist while in London, accompanying performers such as Olivier award winning singer Cassidy Janson and several house singers at Ronnie Scotts.

This will be his third show since returning to NZ and he is having a blast meeting new performers and reconnecting with old mates. Hope you enjoy the show!

Guitar

Tom has been playing music since before iPhones existed. Just like the iPhone, he got good around the release of the 4s. One of his last theatre roles was as one of 4 narrators in a primary school production of Robin Hood. Luckily the band uniform doesn't feature any tights.

He's really looking forward to performing these songs with the rest of the wonderful band and cast, and is hoping that the last few months spent practicing the intro to “Lost in the Woods” has paid off. Fingers crossed.

Callum returns to Footlights for a third time with this show, after playing in If/Then and Company. He is currently completing the final year of a Bmus, majoring in Jazz Performance, at the NZSM, and has a range of experience performing in cover bands, jazz groups, and brass bands.

Clarinet / Saxophones

Natalie has been involved in musical theatre from a young age. Although playing multiple instruments in this show, she is better known as a composer. She has been sporadically involved with the Wellington Footlights Society since 2015 and has really enjoyed this experience. She would like to thank Michael Stebbings for the kind use (again) of his Tenor Saxophone.

Nick is pleased to return for another Footlights show, after previously performing in If/Then, My Fair Lady, and Company. This time, he gets to play (or at least try to play) aaaaall the instruments. Nick has been playing in brass bands, big bands, concert bands, orchestras, choirs, and other musical groups since he was 8 and still enjoys performing at every chance he gets.

Ellie is honoured to have graduated from the Footlights stage (My Fair Lady, Chess, Legally Blonde) to the honourable position of Violin II for the Silver Linings band! Ellie recently dusted off her violin for Red Scare Theatre’s That’s All She Wrote and counts herself lucky to be able to lend her strings to a second musical spectacle in 2020.

Logan is thrilled to be part of a Footlights production once again, after being a member of the band for their 2019 production of My Fair Lady.

An avid cellist, singer, pianist, and composer, he is currently in his third year of a Composition and Film Scoring degree at Victoria University, every moment of which he is loving.
